Then, almost without warning, the daylight abruptly vanishes, and suddenly it’s Thanksgiving, then Christmas, leaving me with a distinct sensation that something precious was snatched away before I was truly ready to let go. This year, however, that familiar feeling of being caught off guard is absent. There’s a newfound intention in embracing the changing season, a proactive engagement that feels both novel and incredibly refreshing.

Speaking of excitement and embracing the season: I recently celebrated a significant milestone by completely filling in the gravel area of the new fire pit.
