Connected to the main kitchen, the walk-in pantry is a dream for anyone who loves to cook and entertain. It offers ample storage with intelligently designed shelving and dedicated spaces for appliances, keeping the main kitchen clutter-free. The Versatile Mudroom and Laundry Room
This room was undeniably one of the most intriguing multi-functional spaces within the entire home. Far exceeding the typical laundry room, this expansive area combines practical utility with stylish design. It serves as an organized drop zone for outdoor gear, a highly efficient laundry center, and offers generous storage solutions, proving that even utilitarian spaces can be beautifully designed. It’s truly a marvel of intelligent home planning.
Easily one of the most interesting multi-function rooms in the house. And WAY larger than any laundry room I’ve ever seen before!

(It was only fitting that every television in the house was tuned to HGTV, perfectly immersing visitors in the dream home experience!)

Before I knew it, my unforgettable journey to the 2020 HGTV Dream Home concluded, and it was time to hit the road for the long drive home. The trip was an intense whirlwind: roughly five hours of driving, a two-hour immersive tour, a brief night’s sleep, and then another five-hour drive back. Despite the demanding schedule, I am incredibly grateful I seized this opportunity and finally crossed it off my bucket list. It was a truly spectacular way to kick off 2020, especially considering that less than a week later – almost immediately after returning home – I faced a water line break in my own front yard!
