Always wear gloves to protect your skin from irritants, a breathing mask to prevent inhalation of fine particles, and safety glasses or goggles to shield your eyes. I experimented with varying amounts of glitter in different molds to see how it would affect the final look, which is a great way to discover new effects. A key learning point: if using confetti, avoid piling it too thickly near the edges, as this can cause pieces to fall away when de-molding. Fine glitter tends to be more forgiving in this regard.
